Our Story
Albania is one of Europe's fastest-growing travel destinations. Every year, more visitors discover its pristine beaches, ancient ruins, and mountain landscapes. But getting around has always been a challenge. Public transport is limited, ride-hailing is inconsistent outside Tirana, and renting a car meant calling individual agencies, negotiating prices over WhatsApp, and hoping the insurance terms would be clear at pickup.
Utana was founded in 2025 to solve this problem. We built a platform that brings verified local car rental agencies online, letting travelers compare real-time prices, read transparent terms, and book with confidence — all before they land. For agencies, Utana provides the tools to manage their fleet, handle bookings, and reach customers they never could before.
Today, Utana serves travelers across Albania with plans to expand into Kosovo, Montenegro, North Macedonia, and the broader Balkans. Our mission remains the same: make car rental in this region as transparent and easy as booking a hotel anywhere else in the world.

How Utana Works
Search
Enter your pickup city and travel dates. We show you live prices from all verified agencies in that area, sorted by price with filters for car type, transmission, and insurance level.
Book
Choose your car, select your insurance level, and pay securely online. You can also choose to pay at pickup if the agency offers that option. Free cancellation is available on most bookings.
Drive
Pick up your car at the airport, port, hotel, or agency office. Complete the digital check-in on your phone, and you are on the road. At return, the same digital process ensures a smooth handover.
